01

Batches and expiry dates

Each receipt records its batches and their expiry date. At the register, the sale takes the batch that expires first and refuses an expired batch.

Stock reads batch by batch, and shelf stocktaking recounts each batch.

02

Retail by the unit

A box can be sold whole or by the strip: stock is counted in the smallest unit, and each receipt line keeps its pack size.

03

Prescriptions and third-party payment

  • The patient's name and the prescription details are noted at the sale; the prescriptions screen finds them again.
  • The insurer is picked or created at the register, with the member's coverage rate, suggested from their membership number.
  • The insurer's share stays due until it is paid, and goes to its own account in the books.

04

Restocking and suppliers

Each product's alert threshold, supplier orders with their restocking suggestion and the receipts that close them. The purchase price gives the margin on every sale.

Frequently asked questions

Can the register sell an expired product?

No. It always takes the batch that expires first and leaves out expired batches.

How is an insurer's share tracked?

Each third-party receipt keeps the share owed by the insurer until you mark it as paid.

Can I sell a box by the strip?

Yes. The pack size is set per product and the stock counts strips.
